A crisp Italian bread, crisp crumb with a strong pleasant austere flavor. This product is prepared from quality durum wheat semolina which was selected for its organoleptic characteristics and high protein content.

Pane Casereccio Pugliese uses only the best quality ingredients to bring you a homemade taste. Our natural durum wheat semolina is stone-ground and has a particularly rich flavor while providing a higher protein content than other types of wheat.

The addition of olive oil from our own groves gives the bread a distinctive herbal flavor. Baked in our own bakeries following traditional methods handed down from one generation to the next, Pane Casereccio Pugliese guarantees excellent quality!

    Light Textured

I was amazed when I first saw the size of the slices of the bread; had to cut them in half to fit into the toaster. This bread toasted in less time compared to bread made in the US and the bite/taste was lighter; I made filling/stuffing which gave a wonderful flavor. My husband likes it because datem is not in this bread; datem is a preservative that has been linked to heart fibrosis and leaky-gut-syndrome in animal studies. Thank you, Dolceterra for selling this product.

    Delicious

My family is from southern Italy. This bread brought back so many memories of the bread we used to eat there. Spot on texture and mouth feel, great flavor and pairs well with home made spicy soppressatta, mortadella, nduja, provola, scamorza, seasoned dipping oils, olive oil with crushed tomato, even one of my childhood favorites, olive oil with sugar. This bread holds up well with just about anything you lay on it or dip it in. Worth every penny!

This bread is delicious and my guests love it

I use it for sandwiches, as a side dish or even as an appetizer. It's also fantastic when toasted, with olive oil and salt. I've been using this bread for months!

I love it toasted a bit with some extra virgin olive oil and sea salt

A nice snack with a cup of coffee in the afternoon.
